Mission Statement

OUR PURPOSE

As the rate of alcoholism and addiction continues to rise in our country, so does the need for quality treatment of the disease.

Our mission is to provide quality extended care treatment

followed by clean and sober, long-term, support housing
                             for recovering alcoholic/addict men.

BACKGROUND

Step-Up Recovery, Inc. was established in 1999 with the primary goal of helping the alcoholic/addict in need.
Since 1999, Step-Up Recovery's Sober Living Homes have been providing the alcoholic/addict a clean, solid stepping stone back into mainstream society. Men from all walks of life and scales of living have been coming to us from detoxification centers, short-term treatment facilities, jails, institutions, and the streets. With respect and dignity, we’ve maintained a high level of care and helped lay the foundation for the men who’ve passed through our homes on their journey in recovery.

With the desire and willingness to stay clean and sober,
many of our residents have found successful new lives in recovery.

OUR BELIEFS

  • That alcoholism/addiction is a disease and needs to be treated as one.

  • That every man, woman, and child suffering from this disease deserves the right and dignity to find recovery.

  • That society is better served by offering help to these individuals.

  • That any necessary detoxification, followed by individual treatment, followed by longer-term clean and sober support housing, followed by ongoing involvement in the 12 Step program is the fundamental outline to the success of recovering individuals.
